James received his degree in Theatre Arts from Cal State Northridge.

 

He is one of the founding members of the Santa Susana Rep. Co., and has performed in countless plays and musicals.

 

Recently, he performed in the short fim "30 Minutes of Perception."

 

James has written an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol which is produced every year, and an adaptation of H.G. Wells' The Time Machine and he was the chief lyricist for the original production of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

 

James is currently finishing music for his original rock-musical comedy Jackie & Phil On Planet 10. He is working on several screenplays, Escape From Planet 10, a mockumentary; Heretic House, a haunted house story; and Darkland, an action/fantasy.

 

He also provides some mock radio spots for the comedy radio spoof, Buddy Shell Metaphysical Private Investigator, currently in pre-production.

Barry composed the music for "30 Minutes Of Perception" and produced the Jeniblue CD. He has a track record of Gold/Platinum records with artists including: Diana Ross, Billy Joel, Placido Domingo, Dionne Warwick, George Benson, Melissa Manchester and Air Supply.
